Driving In

The airport is relatively easy to find by road.  If you're coming from the South or Southwest, follow Hwy 201 North towards Ontario.  The airport will be on your left.  If coming from the North or East via I-84, you can exit in Ontario, heading West, following the signs for Hwy 201 or take the exit for the new Tony Yturri Memorial Parkway.  From the parkway, the airport will be on  you right.

There will be directional signs throughout the city and on the Hwy nearing the airport.

Flying In

The Ontario Airport is non-towered, so follow normal procedures for an uncontrolled airport. Please check the NOTAMS for specific information on day of arrival.
There will be a temporary Ground Control (advisory) on 121.9 MHz the day of the Air Faire.  Please use this frequency and conduct all ground movements with the assistance a "Follow-Me".  Please ensure that a "Follow-Me" is present before engine on departure or any movement on the airport while under power.  Ontario Municipal (KONO) can be found on the Eastern edge of the Klamath Falls Sectional Aeronautical chart.  Any specific arrival procedures in effect the day of the Air Faire will be published in NOTAMS.

For detailed airport information, click here: http://www.airnav.com/airport/KONO.

After Landing and escort to parking by a Follow-Me, you'll be greeted by an Ontario Ambassador, who you'll be able to identify by their sapphire uniforms.

Plan to arrive in time for breakfast.  Each fly-in pilot will receive a coupon for an all-you-can-eat breakfast from your Ambassador.

Based on availability, the Ambassadors are also known to be a good source of patches or pins to commemorate your trip.

Be sure to ask your Ambassador about all the sights and activities Ontario and Southeast Oregon has to offer after enjoying the Air Faire.
