2010 Performers:
Faithful Men
Celebrating over 13 years as an outreach ministry of Meridian Assembly – Meridian, ID, Faithful Men continue to perform concerts in Churches, Schools, Conventions, and many other venues. This eight member singing group’s repertoire includes traditional, contemporary and patriotic musical selections that will appeal to all ages.
They have performed at the Lincoln Day Celebration at the Boise Centre on the Grove, the Idaho Celebration of the National Day of Prayer and were special guest performers at the dedication of the Idaho Veteran’s Cemetery in Boise. You may have heard them singing the National Anthem at the Idaho Stampede Basketball game or The Idaho Steelheads Hockey game - seen them perform at military events honoring soldiers and their families – or perhaps at the God and Country Rally at the Idaho Center. They have been featured at several Air Shows performing their salute to the Armed Forces. Wherever they go, they receive standing ovations…touching lives with the truth of the gospel through music.

Arioso
Arioso is the past Division 5 champion quartet of the Evergreen District of the Barbershop Harmony Society and has been together for about 3 years. Tenor Jim Kling is a long time gospel music singer but relatively new to barbershop. In his spare time he is a civilian police officer for the Boise Police Dept. and a gentleman farmer. Lead Shad Durfee worked his way to lead after first singing Tenor and then Baritone in Upswing which morphed into Arioso. Baritone David Lau is our newest member. David is an instrumentalist who discovered barbershop after moving out from Maryland. David is a private delivery contractor. Bass Dave Durfee has been singing barbershop quite awhile and been in several quartets and was a founding and last remaining member of Upswing. Dave is a retired paving construction company owner.
