Faithful Men
Celebrating over 13 years as an outreach ministry of Meridian Assembly – Meridian, ID, Faithful Men continue to perform concerts in Churches, Schools, Conventions, and many other venues. This eight member singing group’s repertoire includes traditional, contemporary and patriotic musical selections that will appeal to all ages.
They have performed at the Lincoln Day Celebration at the Boise Centre on the Grove, the Idaho Celebration of the National Day of Prayer and were special guest performers at the dedication of the Idaho Veteran’s Cemetery in Boise. You may have heard them singing the National Anthem at the Idaho Stampede Basketball game or The Idaho Steelheads Hockey game - seen them perform at military events honoring soldiers and their families – or perhaps at the God and Country Rally at the Idaho Center. They have been featured at several Air Shows performing their salute to the Armed Forces. Wherever they go, they receive standing ovations…touching lives with the truth of the gospel through music.
Chicken Dinner Road
Chicken Dinner Road is a Treasure Valley, Idaho Bluegrass Band. We got together in 2005 to play Bluegrass for our own enjoyment and just have fun. In june 2006, we deceided to go to the National Old Time Fiddle Contest in Weiser, Idaho and signed up for the Battle of the Bluegrass Bands. We won first place! Having only played once in a public venue previous to the contest, it was a total surprise to us and made us feel like we were doing something the Bluegrass fans liked. Thus launched our hobby of playing Bluegrass for our friends.... This year (2009) at the National Old-time Fiddle Contest, we competed in the Battle of the Bluegrass Bands again and were fortunate enough to win 1st place for the second time. Thank you to our fans that came and supported us.
