Selected Displays at the Air Faire

With a fleet of 130 planes, MAF provides access to the Gospel and to vital services such as healthcare, education, leadership development, crisis relief, and community developmental services otherwise unavailable in remote and isolated locations. Each year MAF conducts thousands of medical emergency evacuations through its air ambulance service. More than 1,000 Christian and nonprofit agencies, as well as thousands of isolated indigenous people, depend on MAF in 55 countries of Africa, Asia, Eurasia, and Latin America.

The most recent addition to the MAF fleet is N58NH, a KODIAK aircraft. Designed and manufactured by Quest Aircraft Company, the KODIAK runs on jet fuel, allowing MAF to reduce its dependency on aviation gasoline (avgas), which is scarce and expensive in the remote areas of the world where MAF serves.

The first MAF KODIAK is assigned to the MAF program in Papua, Indonesia, where it will transport missionaries, evangelists, doctors, and humanitarian workers to isolated villages. Like all MAF aircraft, it will carry the sick and injured to medical clinics, and deliver medicines, Bibles, building materials, food, and other necessities of life.

Over the next there years, MAF will replace 20 of its C206s with KODIAK and Caravan aircraft. To learn more about MAF and how you can support this ministry, visit the MAF website at http://www.maf.org/
